No this ain't a sturgeon, but Dollys will take the bait so you just never know what you will catch or how big it will be when you are sturgeon fishing. Lots of seals, geese and other waterfowl hanging around. Took most of the morning for the fog to lift but when it did and the tide shifted to outflow, the Sturgeon on the Pitt River started to wake up. Gabe and I checked out one spot and as Gabe said, "The spot of forgiveness" In cold water, the sturgeon bite is usually very timid and short so unlike what you hear you gotta be quick and take what you can get but at this spot they just kept coming back. We landed 4 and had a great ride home and no more fog!
