Checked out the upper Squamish and slowly and steadily the number of chum have been building so that many of the side streams and the Cheakamus have good numbers. The Squamish River has cleaned up and is still very low. So far the coho have showed up in very low numbers and not a lot were visible. The Cheakamus had some coho rising just upstream of the Fergies Restaurant but not many in the main stream of the Squamish or the Mamquam Rivers. Today the bull trout figured out how to shake the hooks so no pictures of them. However, there were good numbers of eagles and in parts of the upper Squamish, some of the mountain goats have moved into their winter ranges along the river. Enjoy the pictures.
